These Terms govern your use of this website and any services provided by The Elocution Coach Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or over to purchase services.
  • For the Kids Programme, the purchaser must be the parent or legal guardian, accepting these Terms on the child’s behalf.

2. Services

We provide:

  • 1:1 coaching (online and/or in-person)
  • Group coaching sessions
  • Membership programmes and subscriptions
  • Courses, workshops, and bootcamps
  • Digital content and resources

All services are delivered as coaching and training, not therapy or medical treatment.

3. Bookings & Contracts

  • A contract is formed when payment is made or a booking is confirmed.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings.
  • Availability of specific coaches, times, or locations is not guaranteed.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).
  • Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed.
  • We use third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe).

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions renew automatically based on your billing cycle.
  • You must cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

1:1 Sessions

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice required to reschedule.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows = session forfeited.

Group Classes

  • Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

Bootcamps / Events

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • We may offer optional transfer or credit at our discretion.

6. Waiting Lists & Availability

  • Booking a consultation or enrolling does not guarantee immediate availability.
  • You may be placed on a waiting list until a suitable slot becomes available.

7. Coaching Disclaimer

  • Results are not guaranteed.
  • Progress depends on your effort, practice, and engagement.
  • We are not responsible for outcomes such as:
    • career progression
    • interview success
    • business results

8. Conduct & Behaviour

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if a client:

  • behaves inappropriately
  • uses abusive or offensive language
  • disrupts sessions
  • breaches safeguarding standards

No refunds will be issued in these cases.

9. Safeguarding

  • We take safeguarding seriously and follow appropriate procedures.
  • Sessions may be monitored or recorded for safety and quality purposes.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring a safe environment during sessions.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, including:

  • course content
  • exercises
  • frameworks
  • recordings

are owned by The Elocution Coach Ltd.

You may not:

  • copy, share, or resell content
  • use materials for commercial purposes
  • train others using our methods

11. Confidentiality & Recordings

  • Sessions may be recorded for:
    • quality control
    • training
    • internal review
  • We will not share identifiable content without consent.

12. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service

Nothing excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • fraud or misrepresentation

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services if:

  • payments are missed
  • Terms are breached
  • continuation is not appropriate

You may cancel at any time, but refunds are not provided unless required by law.

15. Changes to Services

We may:

  • modify schedules
  • change coaches
  • update programme structure

We will aim to provide reasonable notice where possible.

16. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the website
  • attempt unauthorised access
  • distribute malicious content

17. Third-Party Tools

We use third-party platforms (e.g. booking tools, payment providers).
We are not responsible for their outages or failures.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use = acceptance.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
